Experienced technologist with a track record of bringing innovative machine learning accelerators to market. Currently leads the engineering team for Qualcomm Cloud AI100, bespoke solution for high performance and energy efficient machine learning in cloud and edge. Prior to Cloud AI100, he was the original architect and engineering lead for Qualcomm\'s dedicated machine learning accelerator IP for mobile SoC. Experienced with leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams across SoC architecture, chip and board design, machine learning frameworks/runtimes/compilers and firmware. Regularly engages with customers on technical discussions and product evaluations. Prior to Qualcomm, was a well published researcher on many aspects of application specific digital system design including stream processor architectures, parallelizing compilers, network-on-chip (NoC) design and synthesis, low power and thermal aware design, hardware-software co-design, and reconfigurable and adaptive computing. He was a recipient of the NSF Career Award, and several best paper awards.
