Coordinate with local, state, and federal partners to develop subapplications for FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance grant programs (BRIC, FMA, HMGP) and provide project oversight. Work closely with Calvert County residents throughout the application project implementation process for private property mitigation- Provide community outreach and education to encourage disaster preparedness and risk reduction. As part of this, maintain content and outreach on the Division\'s mobile app, Calvert Prepare- Maintain plans for Calvert County Division of Emergency Management, including the All-Hazard Mitigation Plan and Emergency Operations Plan. Coordinate with local, state, and federal partners for planning updates- Respond to real-world emergencies impacting Calvert County, including the COVID-19 pandemic, Tropical Storm Isaias, October 2020 tidal flooding, and multiple snowstorms and severe thunderstorms- Assist with the development of, and participate in, multiple exercises to test local plans including a biennial full-scale exercise to test the Radiological Emergency Plan for Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant- Manage the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) and Tier II Reporting of hazardous materials- Develop and assist with the provision of emergency operations training to improve the readiness and resilience of Calvert County Government- Develop and maintain relationships with local, state, federal, private, and nonprofit partners to enhance response to emergencies and disasters in Calvert County- Utilize computer modeling and mapping systems to supplement the planning efforts, demonstrate hazards and hazard impact, and assist in identifying needs during emergencies.
