About Kara Pearson
Hi, I\'m Kara! I\'m a UX designer passionate about creating user-centered experiences that bring joy, clarity, and ease to people’s lives. My journey into UX design was inspired by coaching Special Olympics and serving as Editor-in-Chief of a magazine, where I learned the importance of empathy and communication. Currently, I’m a senior at Purdue University studying UX Design, with a minor in Psychology and a Collaborative Leadership Certification. I\'ve interned at United Airlines and Apiture, and worked on projects with Cisco, Hoka, Kayak, and Key Lime Interactive. I\'m now a Product Design Intern at Microsoft, focusing on M365 Core. I\'m proficient in design tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Sketch, and have experience with HTML/CSS and JavaScript. I\'m also a founding member and Director of Brotherhood for Alpha Theta Delta, and actively involved in Delta Gamma Sorority, UX Design Club, and Women in Technology.
