About Kara Oboyle

My name is Kara O’Boyle and I recently pursued and completed a Master\'s Degree in Accountancy: Specialization in Forensic Accounting from the University of Scranton as well as began the process of becoming a Certified Public Accountant. I obtained an undergraduate degree in May of 2023 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I pursued a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a collateral in Finance.My previous experience as an Audit and Assurance intern at PwC in Summer 2023 allowed me to learn the audit and assurance process in great detail. The many different experiences I’ve had in the past with team development and building connections prepared me in being a suitable candidate to providing assurance to others. I have demonstrated leadership and developing good critical thinking skills through experiences like previously being the VP of Community Service for Delta Sigma Pi - Alpha Zeta Chapter, being Treasurer for Leading Women of Tomorrow and in the past volunteering for Alex\'s Lemonade Stand Foundation to raise money for childhood cancer research. I demonstrate hard work and motivation by always giving 110% in all aspects, whether it\'s sports, studies or work. I can\'t wait to further grow and develop myself through meeting new people.
