ABOUT KARA JOHNSON
Howdy! My name is Kara Johnson, and I’m a proud Texas A&M graduate with a BBA in Business Management. I am now pursuing my MBA online through LSU Shreveport, with a concentration in International Business.I currently serve as the University Program Assistant at Mays Business School\'s Center for International Business Studies (CIBS), where I transitioned into a full-time role after graduation. This position allows me to continue supporting international business initiatives and student engagement, building on the experience I gained as a Marketing & Outreach Student Worker during my undergraduate studies.While completing my undergrad, I was actively involved in organizations such as a Freshman Leadership Organization (FRWD) and the Freshman Business Initiative (FBI), where I served as a BUSN 101 Peer Leader for two years. I also volunteered weekly at the Boys & Girls Club of Brazos Valley through my sorority, Pi Beta Phi.Outside of work and academics, I enjoy traveling with friends & family, playing pickleball, and reading.
