About Kara Garvey
Throughout my life, I have been an eager and dedicated student. I have always had an excellent work ethic and pursued avenues which I am passionate about both professionally and personally. I am a creative person which shows itself both in how I approach solving problems and how well I can adapt to new challenges. Helping people has always and will always be something that is of pivotal importance in my life. I have spent my undergrad developing a solid foundation in both Physics and Electrical Engineering. I delved into biomedical research through both independent research and by joining a professors research lab in undergrad. Now I focus on research in other areas at HRL. I highly value the environment fostered at HRL for collaboration and cooperation contrasting my independent research experience in undergrad.
