About Kara Donovan
I received my PhD in Biomedical Engineering working with Dr. Eric Leuthardt in the Department of Neurosurgery. My dissertation work focused on eliciting a better mechanistic understanding of transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation through probing both ascending and descending central nervous system pathways. After graduate school I transitioned to management consulting where I am working to leverage the skills I developed during my PhD to drive tangible impact.
