About Kara Cederquist

After graduating from one of the top 5 hospitality management programs in the world, Kara took the path less traveled. She has lived, worked and traveled around the globe all the while learning about sustainable and luxury tourism. She has stood in awe during sunrise at the Taj Mahal (while living in India), backpacked all over Europe, South America and Asia, got her scuba diving license in Thailand, and kayaked in Antarctica. She has worked for multiple adventure travel companies in India, Guatemala, and Chile. She feels blessed to have been exposed to tourism at such a young age, working all areas of hospitality and figuring out her career path early on. She loves connecting with people in all walks of life all around the globe, and feels she can learn something from everyone! Her number one goal is to continue to create dream trips for clients.Education: Kara received her Bachelors in Event and Hospitality Management (Double Major) from the University of Central Florida at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management in May 2014.Certificate of completion at the George Washington University in International Sustainable Development Management in 2017. In 2022 Kara received a certificate with WildRose Education completing the Leave No Trace (LNT) Trainer Course-Growing up on a barrier island with the whitest sand you will ever lay eyes on can shape you if you let it. Once you get the opportunity to step out of that you realize there is a much bigger world, but maybe, just maybe, what you have at home is something truly special.The ethos was formed. Be kind. Stop and stare at the beauty. Never take anything for granted. Stay grounded. Use less, do more. Ride out the waves. Always carry in your heart the child that grew up in paradise.She is proud to be a service to world through tourism near and far.
