As the System Interface & Integration Manager for the prestigious Pune Metro Line 3 project, I am responsible for leading the end-to-end coordination and integration of all E&M systems within a complex urban transit environment. This 23.33 km elevated corridor connects Shivaji Nagar to Hinjewadi, comprising 23 stations and a depot, and is designed as a medium-capacity light rail system using standard gauge (1435 mm).Key Responsibilities & Achievements: Strategic Interface Leadership: Spearheaded the interface and integration of critical subsystems including Rolling Stock, Signaling, Telecom, Power Supply (Third Rail), Depot Equipment, Track Work, and SCADA with civil infrastructure and external stakeholders. Single Point of Technical Contact: Acted as the central liaison for all technical queries—internal and external—ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely resolution across engineering teams, partners, and suppliers. Interface Management Planning: Developed and implemented project-specific interface management plans aligned with tender specifications, ensuring compliance and traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Design & Engineering Coordination: Led design workshops and gate reviews to ensure subsystem interface requirements were captured, validated, and integrated into the overall system architecture. Change & Documentation Control: Managed interface-related changes and documentation workflows, maintaining a robust audit trail and ensuring alignment with contractual obligations. Compliance & Reporting: Supervised adherence to interface protocols and generated compliance reports for senior leadership, enabling proactive decision-making and risk mitigation. Operational Readiness: Facilitated subsystem integration and testing strategies to ensure seamless commissioning and readiness for revenue service.
