ABOUT KAPIL KUMAR RAJASHEKAR

I graduated from The University of British Columbia, Vancouver in May 2020 with a Masters in Structural and Earthquake Engineering, thereby, gaining knowledge in Concrete and Steel Design as per Canadian Codes CSA A23.3 and CSA S16, Seismic Analysis and Design using NBCC 2015, Nonlinear Structural Analysis using software ETABS, I have good experience in using drafting softwares - AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit (BIM) which can be extended to other similar softwares with ease. I have good skills in MS Office packages like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. I gained first-hand Canadian experience through an 8-month long Co-op work in Kelowna, BC as part of coursework at UBC. I have experience as a Quantity Survey/ Estimation Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in construction Projects with high significance in India, and Kuwait. In my work career, I gained skills in quantity takeoff/estimation, BOQ preparation, contract agreements, contract management, client and subcontract billing, coordination with consultants, payment tracking - receivables from the client, subcontract agreements, coordination with subcontractors for commercial purposes, rate analysis, cost projection, monthly reconciliation of construction materials, file management, documentation, and procurement/supply chain management.
