Diverse experience of close to four decades predominantly in areas encompassing chemical manufacturing operations, quality system implementation, production planning & control, new product development, process development, regulatory compliance, documentation for EC and GPCB consent, capital purchases, tendering, erection and commissioning activities of plants /machinery and implementing Greenfield projects and Brownfield projects.Established credibility in spearheading the entire project management initiatives, executing development operations end to end right with key focus on bottom line, profitability, by ensuring optimal utilization of resources within the set parameters and operational analysis. Led teams for running successful process operations & experience of developing procedures, service standards for business excellence.Handling hazardous chemicals and processes has always remained a challenge for many engineers. Lots of information is available in the literature/net etc. Only first hand experience can provide a comfort level to the organisation. I feel very lucky myself as I got opportunity to design the systems /plants for handling phosgene, HCN, chlorine, ammonia, CO, SO2,HCl etc. Technology based companies such has UPL and Atul always encourage the team to go one mile extra.Working on green field projects is a completely planned activity and requires good exposure to be successful. Getting timely statutory permissions and keeping the implementation team committed and focused is sometimes stressful but enjoyable in totality. Brown field projects have different kind of challenges. Biggest challenge is to keep operation team informed. There may be moments when you will have to repeat the information to keep them INFORMED. Enjoyed manufacturing of crop protection chemicals in Atul ltd. Produced world\'s best quality agro-chemicals such as 2,4-D Acid and it\'s salts and esters, sulfonyl urea, propoxure,indoxacarb. A great company to work with.Last assignment with Dhanuka Agritech ltd was unique as it required my all skills and knowledge of nearly 35 years to set up a green field project, developing organization, team,systems and compliances. I completed it successfully and superannuated on 30th Sept 2025. It was a deep dive in the business completely.Here, we established new unit and a big R&D lab.
