Project I – Reginsight Regulatory ReportingClient – CITIBankProject overviewReginsight is a Citi Bank regulatory reporting Portal wherein reports arecreated as per Business requirement from the users (i.e. it generates data thatis directly consumed by end users). We receive source files from partnerapplications like Genesis, Optima FA, DAP which are then joined and filters areapplied on various attributes like account unit id’s, GL codes etc as perbusiness requirement and the merged dataset is created after data validation,cleaning and enrichment. This merged dataset is then stored into the oracledatabase and used as source for all the reports i.e. reporting graphs fetchesdata from the oracle db. Report generation logic is implemented via Rules inCiti Bank internal portal Rules Harmony. All the rules generated through Rules harmony are packaged and installed which executes the rules against the mergeddataset and catalog file is generated this catalog files is later validated andmerged if multiple packages and loaded into oracle fact table based on rule idusing abinitio graphs and plans. Reginsight portal then fetches data from thetable with the help of uploaded form setup and report is generated by endusers.Responsibilities• Requirement gathering from clients at different business meetings throughstand up calls.• Involved in Creating various Reports(Fixed, variable, complex), Supplementarydata loads through RulesHarmony.• Analysis of JIRA’s for BAU changes, clarifications from users if any queriesand assigning it to respective resource or development on the same.• Business analysis in various mismatches for customers in monthly or Dailyreports. Analysis of source data as well as business logic to figure out thediscrepancies.• Involved in creating various graphs as per the requirement• Sequencing the report data as per user requirements.• Helping the RH team to build logic for rules for new requirements capturedfrom users.
