ABOUT KANISHKA S M

As a research assistant at Madras Institute of Development Studies (MIDS), I work in the Tamil Nadu Household Panel Survey (TNHPS) team, conducting data analysis and report writing on various socio-economic issues. I have a master\'s degree in general economics from Madras School of Economics, where I learned the theoretical and empirical aspects of economics and developed my skills in R programming. Before joining MIDS, I worked as an analyst at Ipsos, a global market research and consulting firm, where I contributed to the design, execution, and presentation of research projects for various clients. I also have a short-term research internship experience at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, where I analyzed the socio-economic impact assessment of a solar power plant at IIM Tiruchirappalli. I am passionate about applying my research and strategy skills to address real-world problems and create positive social change.
