About Kanishka M.
Hi, I\'m Kanishka! I\'m passionate about mental health. I could sum up my interests as a love for nature, art, and minds! Whether it\'s telling others\' stories through visual mediums, creating content to break mental health stigmas, or explaining the importance of psychological safety, I find purpose in welcoming others to open up and experience the balance of life. I also use a lot of emojis. In June 2022, I graduated from UCLA with my B.A. in Psychology and minors in Labor Studies and Anthropology. I now work in behavioral healthcare, using digital marketing strategies to help improve access to qualified behavioral healthcare providers and bring light to local mental health services and clinical research opportunities. I\'m also pursuing research in the behavioral sciences and volunteering for a crisis counseling text line. In the near future, I will begin my graduate journey into clinical counseling to become a licensed mental health professional for all, but especially for people who look like me.
