Responsible for a 45-50 caseload between the age of 3 to 22 years old who have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, speech and language impairment or developmental fine and gross motor delays-Administers and scores standardized assessments (ie. BOT-2, PDMS-2 & 3, Beery VMI and SPM-2) to complete preschool or school-aged evaluations and triennial reports to determine frequency of OT services and goals -Incorporating and educating staff on sensory processing strategies including deep pressure massages, joint compression, and vestibular strategies to improve behavioral organization in the school setting-Responsible for implementing and providing weekly 50-minute full classroom groups for preschoolers and kindergarteners by incorporating Handwriting Without Tears program and other developmentally age appropriate fine motor activities-Responsible for creating weekly treatment plans and completing monthly consultations with encourage progress towards IEP goals -Complete quarterly progress for parents and teacher to report on fine and visual motor developments-Strong written and verbal communication skills to work on an interdisciplinary team with speech language pathologists, school psychologists, special education teachers & case carriers
