Responsible for purchase of all or a specific portion of productive and/or non-productive materials, supplies, machinery, tooling and/or services. Also, responsible for actively participating in the development of commodity strategy, sourcing/negotiations, global/regional material budget execution, and collaborate with suppliers or internal partners. Responsibilities -Implementing breakthrough purchasing and sourcing technologies into vehicles and experiences that people love -Handling commercial issues with suppliers and assessing supplier performance -Demonstrating competence in negotiating skills -Professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills -High level of analytical ability where problems can be somewhat complex -Developing organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, balance multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines -Using software such as SAP and/or MRP Systems -Developing Contracts / Agreements -Comfortable working with multidisciplinary and cross-cultural teams -Ability to deal optimally with ambiguity and forward-thinking environment
