ABOUT KANE WADE IMECHE
My current role is to lead, own and be responsible for setting technical, engineering and maintenance standards to drive enhanced operational outcomes, collaborating with design and delivery teams to ensure the Pure Data Centre product set is optimised. This also includes overseeing and managing the Technical Operations and Engineering Teams and their functions. This involves ensuring that the Technical and Engineering Operations team, through strategic planning, achieves operational excellence and optimal commercial outcomes. This also includes assuring and validating safe systems of work, maintenance regimes, commissioning, engineering compliance, and robust root cause analysis across all data centres. Additionally, the Global Technical and Engineering Operations Team supports site teams with expert guidance and training while ensuring that Data Centre Design products facilitate efficient operations post-delivery.My vision is to take a lead role to increase our technical capability, standards and operational compliance whilst continually improving technical and engineering excellence. I work closely with all functions of the business whilst ensuring an integrated approach with the Site Operations Teams.I am a Graduate Mechanical Engineer who has achieved a 2:1 BSc (Hons) degree in Product Innovation Design and Development and a MSc degree in Building Services Engineering. I am a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (MIMechE). I am a smart, open minded and enthusiastic worker who has the confidence to work independently using my own initiative. With very good communication and listening skills I am able to work well within a team. I have always been out-going and like to learn new things each day. I have a special interest in critical building services engineering design and management, feasibility studies, commissioning and testing, engineering project management, critical operations, technical consulting and managing people.
