Most discussions about technology focus on features or performance.I’ve always been more interested in a different question:why do we decide a system can be trusted?My background started in regulated healthcare, but the problems quickly expanded beyond regulatory or quality alone. Modern technologies don’t stay still — they update, learn, connect to other systems, and produce evidence continuously. Traditional approval models were built for static products.So my work has become less about interpreting requirements and more about understanding how complex systems behave in the real world — and how to design them so people (and institutions) can rely on them over time.I tend to work close to engineers, scientists, and product teams — not after development, but during it — translating design decisions into long-term consequences: safety, usability, performance, and credibility.Healthcare just happens to be where I started.The broader interest is technology that interacts with human decisions.I’m interested in the space where: • data becomes evidence • systems evolve after release • and trust has to be continuously earned
