ABOUT KANCHAN JOHN

Passionate, motivated, and multitasker. After earning a Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture from a renowned institute in India, I worked for over five years in the construction industry. During my work, I was involved in designing and executing various architectural and interior design projects which were a combination of low-rise and mid-rise buildings. My projects were a mixed bag of residential, commercial, and office spaces. Detailed orientation and application of my practical skills make me an excellent candidate within my field. I was responsible for designing and its execution, project management, site coordination, estimation, scheduling, and managing a team. While juggling between so many roles, I reviewed my situation and realized that this is something I thoroughly enjoy, and decided to get a formal education to support my career advancements. For this reason, I took up a Post Graduate Certificate focused in Construction Management from Centennial College, Ontario, Canada. I am committed to learning new skills and continuing to gain knowledge. Soft skills: Leadership qualities, communication, decision-making, customer service, analytical, good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills Skilled in the use of Microsoft Project, PROCORE, Revit, AutoCAD, Google sketch-up, and Photoshop. Capable of reading technical drawings and contracts.
