Conceptualizing and creating exclusive repeating patterns, placement artworks, embroidery and knit designs using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Procreate and hand painting aligned with the Trend Director’s vision and target market-Creating print color palettes based on monthly color stories-Creating and editing colorways from purchased artwork to fit in the story-Color separation, Indexing, and setting each print into perfect repeating patterns according to rotary/digital requirement-Preparation of each artwork; repeating print, placement or knit design into Technical Specs with Pantone numbers for overseas production-Working closely with the Trend Director and Trend Specialist to oversee each collection, moodboards, trend boards and color stories-Maintain an organized print system and digital library of all artworks-Maintain comprehensive records of all artworks, decisions and outcomes and update design archives and database of all actual size artworks produced for each collection for convenience of buyers-Work closely with Senior Buyers and Designers (Dresses, Tops, Blouses, Sweaters, Denim, Casual) to produce repeat patterns, placement graphics, embroidery and knit as per the requirement of each collection-Checking and commenting on strike-offs to overseas vendors for desired outcomes-Analyzing and staying updated on the latest Textile and fashion trends.
