Office in the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health buildingOversee implementation of multiple research projects such as serological and surveillance surveys based out of the Epidemiology Department of UCLA Fielding School of Public Health-Plan annual multi-projects activities and oversee their execution-Co-write reports and evaluations with principal investigators and provide leadership-Train local DRC research managers, and support them during the implementation of studies-Oversee management of human, material, and financial resources and logistics as well-Represent UCLA during meeting with stakeholders and external international partners-Organize meetings/workshops with several partners locally and internationally-Oversee the communication with project stakeholders, external partners and internal crews-Develop protocols and write, review and edit scientific manuscripts and abstracts-Lead translation of research documentation into French (protocols, forms, reports, presentations, etc) Responsibilities-Manager in charge of the implementation for the “Ecological and Epidemiological Investigations of High-Consequence of Zoonotic Pathogens at the Livestock, Wildlife and Human Interface” in the DRC for Year 1-3 of the study. In collaboration with the USDA, DRC Ministry of Fishery and Livestock and Biomedical Research Laboratory of the DRC (Ministry of Public Health).
