ABOUT KAMILA A. ALEXANDER
I am a public health nurse scientist leader focused on building solutions to address violence and trauma experienced by women and girls across global communities. I have a particular interest in improving the quality of life among women, older adolescents and emerging adults, and people living with HIV and/or experiencing other sexual and reproductive health inequities across the socioeconomic, ethnic, and racial spectrum. Social justice and community engagement are important strategies that underpin my research and teaching. I am also passionate about creating supportive environments for training future nurse scientists through training and raising awareness of the role\'s contribution to the discipline of nursing.
