Hey there! I’m Kamil Samnani, a 17-year-old who’s always chasing goals, drinking way too much chai, and learning through every experience that comes my way. I interned at SUNSHINE RETAIL MANAGEMENT INC, where I picked up skills in customer service, inventory management, product handling, and keeping things running even when the day got a little chaotic. I learned how to stay professional, work well with a team, and keep calm when things don’t go as planned.Right now, I work as a cashier at Juicy Crab. I help customers, take orders, solve problems on the spot, and make sure everyone leaves happy and full. Let’s just say I’ve become a pro at handling hangry people.Outside of work, I volunteer at the Duluth Ismaili Center and serve as the Vice President of the Duluth Secondary REC Student Council. I help organize events and bring in new ideas to make learning about the Ismaili Tariqah more relatable and engaging for students. Whether it’s planning or presenting, I like being involved and making a difference.I also play volleyball for the Ismaili boys’ team and the school team at Peachtree Ridge. On top of that, I’m a junior coach for both the boys and girls teams. Coaching has taught me how to lead, support others, and be patient, even when the ball decides to hit me instead of the floor.More than anything, I’m an outgoing person. I love talking to new people and hearing about their journeys. Everyone has a story, and I’m always curious to learn how they got to where they are. Connecting with others is just part of who I am.I’m a hard worker who’s always pushing forward, setting new goals, and trying to grow a little more every day. Whether it’s through work, school, or sports, I always give it my all and do it with heart.

   During my free blocks at school, I assist my SPIRE engineering teacher by supporting classroom and workshop activities. My responsibilities include helping students with 3D modeling, 3D printing, laser cutting, soldering, and operating various workshop equipment like saws and other tools. This hands-on internship enhances my technical skills and allows me to develop teaching, problem-solving, and equipment safety knowledge while supporting an engaging learning environment.
