I\'m a vice president and editorial director for Emerging Markets equity team responsible for drafting, editing and shepherding research reports on global macroeconomics, team presentations and special projects. I have 15+ years of creating exclusive content on geopolitics, macroeconomics and lately digital assets for web, print and TV. As an editorial director, I oversee research content that inform and engage with sophisticated clients. In my journalistic work, I have won awards for producing exclusive content on global business. In addition, I have extensive experience of national security, UN diplomacy, and foreign policy. I co-authored “The Wind in My Hair: My fight for Freedom in Modern Iran,\" which was recommended by New York Times editors. As a geopolitics strategist at Medley, I researched, analyzed and produced reports on geopolitical challenges faced by the US and delivered high-level briefings to clients on US policies At Bloomberg, I had a variety of roles, the UN Bureau Chief, where I covered national security stories from breaking news to writing in-depth analysis of global crisis, from North Korea to Syria and Iran. For more than three years, I followed the twists and turns of the negotiations that led to the Iran nuclear deal in 2015.Prior to my diplomatic assignments, I spent eight years at Bloomberg Markets magazine, writing investigative stories on finance and business from the tales of high frequency trading which led to the flash crash to profiles of hedge fund managers such as Paul Singer and John Henry. In between, I delved into Elon Musk\'s vision of future and the potential of algae as an alternative fuel, which won a National Press Award.At the magazine, I produced a series of stories on the intersection of politics and economy in the Middle East. My tale of corruption, nepotism and Presidential politics in Iran won Foreign Press Award. Prior to Bloomberg, I was a senior editor at TheStreet.com, managing a team of 8 reporters in San Francisco and New York covering technology companies to help the Internet startup through its successful IPO. But that\'s not all.As managing editor of Forbes.com I broke the Stephen Glass story which became the basis for the Hollywood movie \"Shattered Glass,\" starring Hayden Christensen and Chloe Sevigny in 2003.e
