Storing and performing data analysis of this size in real time needs huge and extensive infrastructure. As a Hadoop Engineer we are maintaining one of the biggest Hadoop cluster in T-Mobile(more than nodes) that grows along with the T-Mobile customer base time to time. As a Hadoop Engineer major day to day roles and responsibilities includes1) Developing streaming applications using Apache Storm and Rabbit MQ for real time data processing.2) Developing various data analytics applications using Apache Hive, Apache Spark, Pig.3) Experienced working with DevOps model of the Software Model.4) Developing ETL models for Loading and Tranforming the data.4) Gathering business requirements and applying insights to the data.
