I am passionate about leveraging my expertise to drive innovative solutions and deliver high-quality designs that exceed client expectations.Roles & Responsibilities- Designing and developing Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)- Symbol and footprint creation using CAD tool- Perform component placement and maintain integrity between components- Performing PCB Design Flow from Library (Symbols/Footprints) creation to Gerber for Fabrication- Working with Hardware & Mechanical engineer, defining PCB layer stack-ups, setting design ruled based on experience, guidelines and standards- Maintaining libraries in database- Working with PCB & assembly vendors to define DFM and DFA rules during PCB layout- Analyze and resolve design related issues in timely manner- Work with project team in understanding circuit requirements and limitations- Develop design documents and requirements specifications for assigned projects- Provide support to PCB manufacturing and testing teams- Review and recommend improvements to existing designs- Stay updated with latest design techniques- Capable of contributing to and addressing issues arising from design reviews, both internal and external- Clear understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and design for test (DFT)- Contribute to component library development for schematic symbols, part parameters, and footprints as per IPC standards- Completing multi-layer fine-pitch HDI PCB Designs using Cadence Allegro CAD Software- Collaborating with cross-functional teams: electrical/mechanical/hardware engineers and PCB Fabricators- Creation of PCB designs based on input (Schematics) from Hardware team, considering EMC guidelines and inputs from the project in order to achieve optimized design in terms of timing, cost, quality and manufacturability- Creation of manufacturing data for suppliers and in house manufacturing PCB line.
