About Kamal Pandey
Extensive experience on advanced state-of-the art techniques of molecular biology and Genomics including next generation sequencing (NGS). Design and perform DNA/ RNA based assays for cancer research using a wide range of biological systems including clinical samples, and animal model. Lead, develop and adapt advanced NGS based experiments for DNA methylation profiling using EM-Sequencing, Bisulfite sequencing (RRBS and whole genome bisulfite sequencing). Design and standardization of protocol and SOP development for genomics sequencing facility. Keep collaborative environment for project investigators, bioinformatics scientists for smooth running of projects. Excellence hands on operating and maintenance of NGS based sequencing instruments (Next Seq iSeq100, NOVA and MiniSeq). Operation and maintenance of liquid handlers for nucleic acid extraction and library preparation for genomics studies such as WGS, bulk RNA sequencing, bisulfite sequencing, targeted cancer panel sequencing and most importantly single cell experiments for scRNA Seq using 10X Genomics platforms. QA/QC analysis of nucleic acids and libraries using capillary electrophoresis and Real-Time qPCR.
