As a technology leader with over 2 1/2 decades of experience in the financial services industry, I\'ve successfully driven major IT transformations and operational efforts for Fortune 100 companies. With expertise in data, application, digital, security, and integration, I\'ve led transformative initiatives at The Hartford, MassMutual\'s life insurance and Travelers insurance businesses, leveraging my technical architecture skills to drive business outcomes. Notable achievements include building data platforms for insurers, policy administration systems, application security frameworks. I have also authored multiple reference architectures for leading insurers.As a leader, I\'ve managed multiple applications and platforms. I also lead data security teams, utilizing enterprise service platforms to detect fraudulent transactions, prevent attacks, and protect accounts through multi-factor authentication.I am a skilled programmer, I\'ve demonstrated versatility by writing code in Assembly (S390) and building innovative applications across multiple platforms. Notably, I developed an insurance quote application using Java, leveraging the language to create a scalable and efficient solution. Additionally, I designed and built a mobile application using React Native, showcasing my ability to adapt to new technologies. In recent years, I\'ve continued to write and deploy functions in NodeJS, utilizing serverless computing with AWS Lambda service. This allows me to focus on developing high-quality code while relying on the cloud-based infrastructure to manage scalability and performance.Current Role:As Chief Information Architect for Business Insurance, I lead the modernization of our data ecosystem to support over 100 data and analytics capabilities. My role is accountable for designing and implementing cloud-based data platform using cutting-edge technology tools using modern architecture guiding principles. Additionally, I worked with technology and business partners to develop conceptual and logical models for Business Insurance. With the support of my leadership team I am playing a crucial role in implementing financial systems that provide accurate revenue and loss information to the official record-keeping platform.
