ABOUT KAMAL KAUR

I am a rising senior at the Orfalea College of Business at the California Polytechnical State University at San Luis Obispo, pursuing a Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. Passion and determination exemplify who I am. Early on, I realized my passion for law and helping people. The school of business has equipped me with the necessary business law classes, problem-solving skills and increased my interest in my long-term goal of becoming an attorney. Coming from a minority group, I have strongly supported growing awareness of my culture. This passion has increased my legal interest in immigration law after witnessing many people struggling throughout the immigration process. I believe that it is meaningful to make new connections, practice leadership, and experience all aspects of a positive work environment. To take the next step towards achieving my goals, I would love to pursue and gain experience in corporate and immigration law. To open more doors, I also want to develop a deeper understanding of marketing because I believe it truly helps understand different perspectives through the work you do. As for my future, I hope to leverage my experiences and skills to become a successful attorney.
