WORK HISTORY
Scientific Officer @Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission
Abuja, NG
I participated in an IAEA regional training course on Nuclear Infrastructure Development in Tokyo and other locations in Japan. This improved my knowledge of Nuclear Power Technology. Also broader understanding of the 19 nuclear Infrastructure issues. I was involved in the preparation of documents for the INIR mission for IAEA\'s milestone 2 achievements of Nigeria.Improved knowledge in the specific areas of nuclear safety, radiation protection, emergency preparedness. This is as a result of lessons learned from the Fukushima Daichi accident including my visit to the Fukushima Daichi Nuclear power station and emergency preparedness center.I was part of a team of experts sponsored by IAEA for training in the USA on Generic Pressurized Water Reactor Simulation Systems. I was also among the experts responsible for the EPC and installation of the Full-scope Generic Pressurized Water Reactor Simulation System in conjunction with Western Services Corporation, USA. I was trained at the WSC, USA on the 3KEY SOFTMASTER software. I have in-depth knowledge of various parts of pressurized water reactor systems ranging from Reactor Pressure vessels, Nuclear Steam Supply System, Steam Generator, turbines, Essential Safety Features, Engineered Safety Features systems, Power Conversion systems, Electrical Power Distribution System.In-depth knowledge of the P & ID diagram of NPP. I developed experiments on real-life scenarios in NPP. I simulate normal, Transients and accident scenarios in NPP.
