About Kalyn Bebej
I am a Business Administration student at Creighton University, double-majoring in International Business and Sports Marketing. I am also a part of the Global Scholars program at Creighton, where I am gaining world views on different social justice issues present across the globe. My passion for travel and for others has been cultivated during my undergrad, in which I have hopes to continue beyond my Creighton education. I spent my freshman fall semester in Bologna, Italy, where I traveled to 11 different countries to learn about other cultures and traditions. I will spend my fall semester of sophomore year in the Dominican Republic at Creighton University\'s Ilac Center in Santiago. During my time at Ilac, I will further my development of the Spanish language and volunteer in Campo to build aqueducts in nearby villages. In my upcoming junior and senior summers, I will obtain internships abroad to strengthen my understanding of what it means to be a global citizen and its importance. When I am on Creighton\'s campus, I work as a Creighton Athletics marketing intern and an Omaha Supernovas communications and press intern. My experience with multiple sports teams and media analytics has given me adaptable skills both on game days and in the office. I enjoy the fast-paced environment that spots provide, as well as the professional experience I am gaining early in my undergrad studies. My next upcoming immersion experience is with the Quispicanchi non-profit foundation in Peru. I will work in the region of Quispicanchi, Peru, to help complete global initiatives and learn more about social justice issues present around the world.
