About Kalyani Dagde
Projects I’ve Worked On (And Grown Through)Over the past 9+ years, I\'ve had the chance to work on some pretty interesting (and at times, challenging!) projects across banking, insurance, and product development domains. Each one taught me something new - whether it was refactoring legacy systems, setting up clean microservices, or finally nailing that elusive CI/CD pipeline. At Capgemini, I led the migration of legacy apps to Java 21 and helped build resilient, scalable microservices on AWS. I also got hands-on with Kafka and Kubernetes - turns out I enjoy making things run smoother behind the scenes. During my time at Synechron, I worked on modernising Spring applications and pushing secure APIs to GCP. I loved mentoring junior devs, especially around TDD and microservice best practices—it felt good to give back while continuing to grow myself. At Coforge, I got to play both frontend and backend roles using React and Spring Boot. SpringBoot, Microservices and Kubernetes became my new best friends here. Back at Dassault Systèmes, I dove deep into automation tools, building dashboards and custom utilities. This is where I started experimenting with Python and realised how much I enjoyed simplifying dev life. My journey started at L&T Infotech, where I worked on insurance applications and created fillable PDFs before they were cool It was my crash course in understanding business needs and turning them into real code. Most of these projects are built with Java, Spring Boot, Microservice Architecture, cloud-native tools like AWS/GCP, and a sprinkle of DevOps magic (Docker, K8s, Jenkins). These days, I’m focusing on learning new things, diving deeper into cloud-native development, refining my system design skills, and exploring open-source contributions bit by bit. I\'m also actively looking for my next opportunity where I can build, collaborate, and grow with a team that values clean architecture and creative problem-solving.If you\'re working on something exciting or just want to connect over tech and learning - let’s chat!I also write technical articles on topics like Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, cloud, and system design.
