I work as part of the Privileged Access Management (PAM) operations team with a strong focus on BeyondTrust Password Safe (BPS) and Privileged Remote Access (PRA). My responsibilities include handling daily BAU operations such as onboarding privileged accounts, managing rotation policies, validating Smart Rules and directory queries, and resolving access or policy-related issues raised through ServiceNow.I monitor password rotations, investigate failures, analyze logs, and correct credential or permission issues. I manage the lifecycle of service accounts by reviewing dependencies, coordinating password updates, and ensuring rotation activities do not cause outages. I support asset discovery, validate scan results, and ensure proper classification of Windows, Linux, database, and network devices within Password Safe.My work involves enabling JIT access, overseeing password check-in/check-out workflows, and supporting custom platform configurations by validating command sets and troubleshooting session launch failures. I also provide operational support for PRA jump clients, entitlement management, privileged session connectivity, and user onboarding.I monitor active privileged sessions, enforce approval workflows, and ensure all activities align with least-privilege and compliance requirements. I regularly review session logs, recordings, and audit reports to support security investigations, operational reviews, and internal governance needs.
