I am driven by a passion to use groundbreaking scientific technologies to address areas of unmet medical needs in ophthalmology. It is this passion that led me to my work that has contributed to the first ever potential treatments for LCA10 and USH2A (most common causes of blindness).During my 15+ year industry career I have managed projects of varying breadth and scope from drug discovery to first-in-man studies both in a startup and in big pharma. I have worked in both highly chaotic as well as organized teams (head of a department comprising of 16 people). I have proven experience in Drug Development, Translational Research, Non-clinical Research and Biomarkers.I am a task oriented, people-focused, agile, analytical yet creative & out-of-the-box thinker. I am eager to learn, highly adaptable, accommodating.
