About Kalyan Deorukhakar
My interest in technology began with repairing electronic gadgets as a hobby, which gradually developed into a professional career in electronics, networking, and IT infrastructure. I joined the Department of Electronics at Shivaji University, Kolhapur in 1990, where I worked on several automation systems. Designed and developed systems such as: • Spray Pyrolysis Unit • Solar Tracking System • Weighing System for TGA (M.Sc. Dissertation) • 500 KN Concrete Compression Testing MachineAfter completing my M.Sc, I joined the Internet Unit of Shivaji University in 1998, contributing to the establishment and expansion of campus-wide networking and Internet services. Over the years, I have worked extensively on network infrastructure, data center technologies, server administration, virtualization, and digital campus systems supporting academic and administrative operations. My work focuses on designing reliable IT infrastructure and enabling digital transformation in higher education institutions.
