ABOUT SAM KALUBOWILA

After two decades of experience in higher education partnerships and collaboration, I joined Arts Council England as Senior Relationship Manager in November ‘23, and transitioned from educational partnerships into partnerships in the arts and cultural sector. I’m passionate about supporting people and communities to reach their potential through education, and creative and cultural development. I have over 20 years experience working in a variety of cultural and educational settings, delivering independently-led and collaborative projects to enrich curricula and widen participation to higher education - trying to remove barriers to systems and institutions to make them accessible to all, one day at a time.I\'m the strategic lead for the Arts Council England\'s work in Rochdale, one of our Priority Places, as well as working closely with local authorities in Manchester, Salford, Stockport and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
