I\'m on the journey towards becoming a SOC Analyst, deeply engrossed in the cybersecurity world, My drive? Keeping organizations safe through eagle-eyed monitoring and swift incident responses Currently, I\'m enriching my knowledge and skills with an MSc in Cybersecurity at Manchester Metropolitan University. It\'s a standout NCSC certified program, and even includes a placement year. This is super exciting because it means diving headfirst into real-world experiences while playing by the book. And here\'s the kicker: my upcoming placement year 2024-25 comes fully sponsored by my university, so logistics are all sorted. What I\'m really craving is the chance to sink my teeth into the industry. I respect your time & efforts, just bear me for a minute or more please… My fascination with technology kicked off with a Computer Science degree from the University of Mumbai, but it was cybersecurity that truly captured my heart. Since then, it\'s been a forward march, enriched by hands-on projects and top-notch internship simulations at companies like Mastercard and JP Morgan, and even a workshop with PwC. Tech-wise, I\'m your go-to for- Mastering SIEM systems (think Splunk, Sentinel)- Maneuvering through IDS/IPS - Tackling vulnerabilities head-on and so much more. I\'m quite the whiz at navigating Windows and Linux, and I can whip up code in Python, PowerShell, Bash like it\'s nobody\'s business. My goal.I\'m all eyes and ears for internship opportunities that let me flex my analytical muscles and sprinkle in some innovation, preferably in an environment that\'s alive with buzz and energy. I\'m so pumped to put theory into practice, you might catch me breaking keyboards from all the coding excitement! But don\'t worry, it\'s all in good fun and passion for what I do. I come prepared with spare keyboards and an insatiable zeal to learn and contribute. Let\'s not forget about the power of connection.
