Hello! My name is Kallie Edins, and I am a student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln studying Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Management with a minor in Business, Leadership, and Communications. My journey in hospitality began with my love for travel and was further shaped by my experience studying abroad, where I immersed myself in different cultures and observed how hospitality and guest experiences vary across regions. Experiencing global hospitality firsthand strengthened my appreciation for service excellence and inspired my passion for creating meaningful, guest-centered experiences.Through my professional experiences with Husker Athletics, The Masters Golf Tournament, Courtyard by Marriott, and Wilderness Ridge Country Club, I have developed a strong, well-rounded foundation in hospitality operations and guest service. These roles allowed me to work in high-profile, fast-paced environments where precision, professionalism, and teamwork are essential. I gained hands-on experience in event operations, luxury service standards, guest relations, and behind-the-scenes coordination, while learning how attention to detail and adaptability directly impact the guest experience.I am a natural people person who thrives in team-oriented settings and enjoy planning, problem-solving, and bringing creative, out-of-the-box ideas to life. My ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with diverse teams, and remain calm under pressure has been strengthened through these experiences, allowing me to contribute positively in any hospitality setting.I will be graduating a full year early this spring, and I am eager to continue this journey and build a professional career centered on exceptional service, innovation, and meaningful guest experiences.
