As Workforce Development Director for the Upper Savannah Council of Governments I use my 30+ years of Workforce Development experience to develop effective, best-in-industry strategies to facilitate employment opportunities for job seekers in the Upper Savannah regions. Working closely with the economic development branches of regional, city and county governments, as well as local state and federal government agencies, my team and I create programs to close gaps in workforce skills and availability for local employers. We accomplish this by offering training, mentoring and opportunities for advancement for job seekers throughout Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Newberry, and Saluda counties in South Carolina.
