ABOUT KALINA SCARBROUGH
I graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee, majoring in Industrial Engineering as well as minoring in Reliability and Maintainability. Currently, I am in the LSU MBA program and am planning on graduating by December 2024. Over the summer of 2021, I was a supply chain intern for PepsiCo and currently I am a SC Ops Representative on the PBNA PGT team. I was the co-founder and president of UTK\'s Engineers Without Borders Student organization. I am a national member and the IISE ambassador for the Society of Woman Engineers and a member of Women in Industrial Engineering. I was the Community Service Chair of Rotaract International, and the secretary of the IISE Student chapter. I have won 4 awards while being a part of SWE and mentored three freshman girls. I am currently a part of a graduate research case study through the university where I code in Python using RNN machine learning techniques. This project has had national recognition, placing 1st in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference and 3rd in the National IISE Conference. I also had an internship with Management Solutions LLC.
