ABOUT KALIE MARLAND

Kalie Marland is a dynamic and innovative professional specializing in product management. Earning a bachelor\'s of biological sciences from University of California, Davis, she is very passionate about utilizing her science-based background in her business pursuits. In addition to maintaining a high course volume throughout college to graduate early, she co-invented a medical device. As a co-founder at Beat Medical, Kalie’s journey in entrepreneurship and medical device innovation has been marked by the successful commercialization of a class 1 medical device, reflecting strong problem-solving and communication skills. Her commitment to improving patient safety through product development was validated through multiple business grants, totaling over She also was accepted into National Science Foundation I-Corps program for startups. She successfully exited in 2022.She is very passionate about product management and has successfully grown multimillion dollar portfolios. She enjoys leading projects to the finish line, whether it be a new product launch, implementing GP/revenue growth strategies, omnichannel marketing initiatives, expanding vendor partnerships, or presentations to key stakeholders.In her spare time, she spends time doing aerial silks, rock climbing, surfing, and highlining. Using her concentration skills, she has been able to walk and do tricks across highlines up in the air. She incorporates this same concentration into her professional pursuits.
