About Kal Fishman

For over 3.5 years, I have been leading Empyrean Medical Systems, a company I founded with a vision to disrupt cancer treatment for patients and clinicians worldwide. As the President and CEO, I oversee all aspects of the business, from raising capital, product development and commercialization, IP generation and registration, global sales, and marketing, to customer service. With more than 30 years of broad medical device and technology experience, I have a strong technical background in product development and engineering and extensive experience in global P&L management, strategic planning, and operations. I have successfully launched and managed several innovative products and solutions, such as the Morpheus™ robotically-assisted beam sculpting radiation oncology system, the SRT-100 Vision™ ultrasound-guided superficial radiation therapy (IG-SRT) system, and other products and technologies in the radiology and radiation oncology market segments. I have also authored multiple patents and publications and served as a Black Belt at GE, where I applied the Six Sigma DFSS methodology to improve product engineering quality and performance. I am passionate about making a real difference for our patients, their families, and clinicians, and I will never cease innovating and developing ground-breaking disruptive technologies to fight cancer.

We take cancer on all its forms personally and with utmost sense of mission. Our families, friends, and communities were all inflicted by this phantom disease, which now reached pandemic proportions. We live and work every single day to make a real difference for our patients, their families, and our clinicians all worlds. We will never cease innovating, developing, and launching ground-breaking disruptive technologies to the market until cancer is completely abolished from this world. For good.
