Ensure proper sanitization and preparation of treatment rooms prior to escorting patients. Conduct patient triage by performing comprehensive assessments, including vital sign measurements such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, O2 saturation, and weight. Assist the attending physician during in-house procedures and microsurgeries (i.e. neurolysis, microTESE, cystoscopies, vasectomies, prostate biopsies, scrotal ultrasounds, etc). Scribing for the physician during patient encounters; documenting medical histories, physical examinations, medications, lab results, and treatment plans. Safeguard the well-being of patients during the recovery phase following anesthesia, attentively addressing their needs. Assist patients as they walk to their vehicle following procedures that utilize IV sedation.
