   Currently the Digital Archivist for the White House Liaison Division of NARA. My primary responsibilities include the management, preservation, and transition of digital presidential records. I assisted with the transfer of digital records, AV materials, social media accounts, and external media from the 46th presidential administration to the National Archives by collaborating with offices across NARA and the White House. I provided archival guidance and advice during the preparation of digital records for transfer and throughout the verification and validation process. Post-transition, I continue to monitor born digital and AV records as they move through various systems and stages to their final archival storage. I also prepare documents for incoming archivist to better understand the records that they will be working with. This includes having a robust understanding of the prior administration, testing and verification/validation of metadata and hardware/software, and file mapping across platforms for long term digital preservation. I also work with the current administration\'s staff to locate records and collaborate on how to best document and preserve their work.I served as an Archivist within the Office of Presidential Libraries from January 2023-September 2024. I processed physical, digital, and AV records. I served as the lead archivist on projects relating to AV and external media where I wrote SOPs for processing and creating reference/distribution versions of media. I was also a lead archivist on projects relating to testing systems holding born digital records. I have processed Special Access requests, reference requests, and assisted in the relocation of the collection.From September 2024 to November 2024, I served as an Archivist with the Special Access Unit of NARA, processing Special Access requests and assisting in the development of procedures for the new unit.
