ABOUT KALEN PAUL
I am very proud to represent KAG Canada as their Corporate Safety Manager for Western Canada. I started my career in the shop at AFD Petroleum as a Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice, then moved through fleet supervision, operations leadership, sales/account management, and now into corporate safety.That background gives me a practical understanding of field operations and what teams need to perform safely and consistently. I have led at branch and regional levels, supported growth through account and pricing strategy, and worked in high pressure environments where safety, service, and reliability all matter.My leadership style is direct, practical, and people first. I focus on clear expectations, consistent coaching, and accountability at every level. I work to build trust with frontline teams, support leaders, and make safety part of daily operations, not just policy.My goal is to keep improving systems, support the people doing the work, and deliver long term value for the business and the customers we serve.
