I manage our social media, developing creative content and organizing marketing campaigns that help connect with our community and promote the store. By focusing on engaging, personal content, I’ve built a strong brand presence that resonates with plant lovers in Fargo. I handle all financial aspects, from managing the books to overseeing payroll, expenses, and cash flow. As the sole person responsible for accounting, I ensure that our finances are healthy, sustainable, and properly aligned with the business\'s goals.Employee management is a critical part of my role, and I recruit, train, and oversee the development of our team. I’m committed to providing employees with the resources and knowledge they need to thrive, from plant care expertise to customer service training. I ensure a positive, collaborative work environment where staff feels valued and supported. Additionally, I manage scheduling, ensuring the store is staffed efficiently to meet demand.Another key responsibility is maintaining our customer loyalty rewards program, which I regularly update to keep it exciting and beneficial for our customers. I also handle product sourcing, working with suppliers to curate a selection of plants and accessories that meet the needs of our customers while reflecting our commitment to sustainability.In 2023, Botanical Brothers was nominated for Small Business of the Year in Fargo, a milestone that highlights the impact we’ve had on the community. As we continue to grow, I’m focused on expanding our offerings, ensuring a top-tier customer experience, and fostering a space that encourages connection, growth, and sustainability.
