ABOUT KALEAB MEKONEN NIGUSIE

I am Kaleab, a Software Engineer at Microsoft. I hold a degree in Computer Software Engineering from Addis Ababa University’s Addis Ababa Institute of Technology, which I obtained in 2020. My expertise includes Web development, Android application development, and machine learning. Recently, I have developed an interest in databases and database systems. I believe that programming revolves around data, whether it is a single boolean bit or terabytes of database data files. Gaining a deeper understanding of how data is represented, stored, processed, and manipulated has piqued my curiosity and led me to explore databases further. Additionally, I value team interdependency and strive to be a team player who contributes my strengths to provide services or create/improve products for our community Outside of work, I like hiking, traveling, listening to Ethio Jazz music; I am a big fan of Mulatu Astatke, and reading.
