ABOUT NANDA KISHORE KALAVACHARLA

In a career spanning over 30 years, I have played multiple roles from being an Entrepreneur to a Consultant, Practice leader, Leadership Development Expert and Executive Coach. I have a passion for organization building, developing practice capabilities and building leadership talent. My key skills are :1. Executive Coaching: hours of coaching leaders and executives (VP to CxO levels) across industries and geographies. Helped several leaders in various situations ranging from role transitions, promotion readiness, customer experience, behavioral transformation, to scaling the business.2. HR Transformation & Leadership Development: Involved in managing strategic HR and leadership development initiatives at a corporate level. As a Certified Coach and Professional Behavioral Analyst, involved in coaching several experienced professionals within organisations into effective leaders. Practice Leadership & Consulting - built and led the Retail & Consumer Goods consulting practice at Cognizant with a focus on executing high value consulting assignments and solutions for marquee clients. Executed several CxO level assignments across the value chain. Presales - built large deal management competency. As head of Strategic Pursuits Group at Cognizant, I had conceptualized and implemented several critical processes, tools, systems and pursuit management capabilities that helped win large outsourcing contracts from numerous Fortune 500 clients. I firmly believe in Coaching as an effective way to change behaviors and transform individuals into leaders. I have leveraged my coaching skills to develop and mentor a sizeable number of future leaders and consultants. In my professional career, I have had tremendous success in setting up new practices, building strategic competencies and developing next generation leaders. My uniqueness lies in my Entrepreneurial spirit - starting my career as an entrepreneur, I was involved in setting up two diverse businesses – a process industry and a retail business – both of which have shaped my professional career, providing me with an opportunity to learn multiple facets of running a business and more importantly, instilling a sense of responsibility towards clients and employees.
