Have been building and solutioning production grade AI/Expert systems for the past 25 years even before AI was popular. Actively working with enterprises in all industry verticals in creating AI solutions. Working with clouds to create Hybrid AI solutions-Have built AI systems at IBM (SAN Config Checker), NetApp (Storage provisioning system) and Equinix (Video Surveillance and AI Marketplace) over the past 2 decades-Have 62 patents issued/filed (Google Patent Site). Currently actively implementing distributed AI systems that span across clouds and edge locations. Due to latency, cost and compliance reasons future architectures will span across clouds and edge locations-Have experience in presenting and interacting with customer and partner c-suite (CTOs, CIOs) personnel. Have given numerous conference keynote talks and have been on executive level panels-Have led large engineering teams on projects with many (10) PhD level engineers. Have provided technical oversight for groups that had over 70 engineers. Have mentored over 50 interns, junior and senior engineers. Have mentored 2 PhD and 5 MSc students at universities in US and in India. Have created and managed project portfolios for CTO teams at Equinix and NetApp-Have published 38 papers in top systems conferences (list available at DBLP site) and have written many thought-leadership blogs that are accessible on LinkedIn-Have run company-wide global innovation program for more than employees at Equinix-Have industry wide recognition. Have been on the program committees of top conferences and journals ACM TOS, USENIX FAST, HotStorage, MSST. Have given invited talks at universities (Stanford, Berkeley, Wisconsin-Madison, UCSC, NUS, IIT Bombay, IISc) and conferences. Was part of CompTIA industry Artificial Intelligence advisory board. Is part of Storage Researchers Hall of fame as one of the top industry-based storage researchers:
