About Kajori Ray
I have always been intrigued by art and artists, be it dancing, singing, painting or writing. As a result I have always gravitated towards extra-curricular activities more than my academic achievements throughout school. As a student of English Literature during college, I was no more the kid who stared out the window, instead my nose was always dipped into a book. Coming from a Bengali family, living in Delhi and studying in an English medium school, languages and cultures have always been aplenty, which led to an interest in learning French and Spanish. Learning about the new cultures and looking at images from French and Spanish speaking countries spiked an interest in the art of photography. After working for a year as a deputy editor, I decided to pursue my interest in photography and photojournalism. So now I have a bachelors and masters degree in English literature, a diploma in creative photography, and a never-ending thirst to learn more about languages and photography for the rest of my life.
